Take Away Hire
Self-guided kayak hire (no guide) should not be your first kayaking experience. If you have never kayaked before we recommend undertaking some instruction or a guided tour. “Take away” – means place kayak on your car (that has roof racks) and take for between 1-10 days.
Pre-book 1-2 weeks in advance, especially if taking away for 2 days or more (hire request form below). Hire requests are subject to approval.

All participants must complete a Smartwaiver
Outdoor Clothing recommended
Prior kayaking experience is mandatory / Not suitable for first-time paddler

Hire Notes
Kayak hire rates include: paddles, paddle leashes, life jackets, spray decks and pumps.
All kayaks have rudders except sit on top and Canadian canoe.

Bookings are finalised once deposit has been made. A deposit of $40 – $150 (depending on length of hire and no. of kayaks) is required before you pick up the kayak. This can be paid via credit card over the phone or by direct bank transfer into the following account:
